What's Holding You Back

 What's holding you back from living a lifestyle pleasing to the Lord Jesus Christ? What's the cost to you as a created being made in the very image of the eternal Creator God? Surely it's not the Spirit of a loving God who desires the best. There's only one who stands between you and the Lord God. That one spirit is the god of this present dark world system, "Satan." His agents have consumed many individual lives years after years by the presentation of a false gospel of grace. So once again; what's holding you back? Yes, it's Satan the father of all manner of lies. 

You cannot hear the voice of the Lord Jesus Christ speak into your life. Simply, because, Satan has taken you captive at his own will through those things which you're submitting to here in this present dark world system. Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth (John 9:31). So, what must you do; in order, to hear the Word of God? You must first be willing to receive the truths of the Word of God into your heart. 

By doing so you'll open a door of entry for the Spirit of God to enter into a relationship with you. He desires to receive you as His child today. Your obedience is the direct key to receive the Word of God which will deliver you out of the hands of the god of this present dark world system. But, this can only happen with your permission. Let us read what the manifest Word of God has to say concerning this important fact. But as many as received Him, "JESUS CHRIST" to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God (John 1:12-13). 

Your Self Will Kills

So many individuals allow themselves to be overcome by such things as drugs, sex, disobedience, murder, lying, as well as, so many other things. Listen, your self will can destroy you and lead you into a very dark place. There's no way you can live out the divine plan of the Lord God when your lifestyle is consumed by an attitude of rebellious disregard for the things of the Lord Jesus Christ. But, there's hope yet for those who'll receive the gospel message of salvation through Jesus Christ. 

It's the Spirit of God that can set any captive soul free from the evil destructive god of this present dark world system. He can deliver you from your self will which is in rebellion against His manifest purpose for your life. How? You may ask. Well, a reading of the following will open your understanding concerning this important question. First, the Word of God states the following truth concerning this matter of importance.

Jesus Christ The True Vine 

You must become willing to receive the Word of God. Then be willing to confess your sins as you ask the Lord Jesus Christ to forgive you. This is done by believing in your heart and then confessing with your mouth. That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart, man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation. For the scriptures saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed (Romans 10:9-11). 

The truth of the matter is you have the individual ability to leave the captivity of Satan. He's had no power against the blood of Jesus Christ. Once you decide to follow, Jesus Christ, as both Lord and Savior. You're made free. So now what's holding you captive? Only you and the dark works of the flesh are holding you back from receiving God's only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, as both your Lord and Savior. 

The Works of The Flesh

The Word of God is very clear concerning the dark works of the flesh which are clearly seen by those things presented within the Word of God. They are as follows: Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the Kingdom of God (Galatians 5:19-20). 

There you have it. These are the habits birthed of the flesh that are holding you back from receiving the deliverance. But, once you've made up in your mind you're going to submit, repent, and receive the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. It's then you're supernaturally released from the powers of the dark god of this present world system, Satan. Be freed today in Jesus mighty name. God bless. - Committed one

  I learned over the many years of my life God's ways of doing things are the total opposite of the way we as humans like to do things. Separated From God

 Until this moment you may not have been aware that you were born under a sentence of death. You may think of yourself as a 'good person,' and you feel that God would never condemned you, and only Christ can save you. In Christ's own words the Gospel message is: "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through Me."  Our marred nature separates us from God. The Barrier Removed

 In order to free us from the slave market of sin, God designed a means by which His perfect standards can be met. God the Father sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to remove the barrier between God and man. Jesus Christ is unique because He is both perfect God and perfect man. Not only is Jesus Christ human, but He is also just as much God as the Father who sent Him: "I and the Father are one" (John 10:30).  When Jesus Christ came to earth to become the God-man, He was born outside the slave market: His humanity was perfect.
