Separated From God

 Until this moment you may not have been aware that you were born under a sentence of death. You may think of yourself as a 'good person,' and you feel that God would never condemned you, and only Christ can save you. In Christ's own words the Gospel message is:

"I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through Me." 

Our marred nature separates us from God. There are no 'good' people by God's standards. No one can be 'good enough' by his own desire or works to remove this barrier that separates man from God. Imperfect man is on one side of the barrier and perfect God is on the other. 

What does it take to get it right with the Father? It's simple; accept the sacrifice of His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ. His finished works on the cross is all you need. Here's what the manifest Word of God says: 

But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart; that is, the word of faith, which we preach; that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 

For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scriptures saith, whatsoever believeth on Him shall not be ashamed (Romans 10:8-10). 

What next? 

You must be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins then you will receive the baptism of the Holy. Not in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy. Why? Simply, because, these are all titles not a name. 

Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. (Acts 2:38‭-‬39 KJV)
