Jesus Christ Demands Faithfulness "Joshua's Address"

Throughout the Bible we find the Word of God demands faithfulness in every individual soul called into the Kingdom. Therefore, if the child of God hasn't developed in his/her understanding of what the Lord God Almighty desires of him/her. It's, because, of their love for this present dark sphere of life. That, they themselves find they're unprepared for the unseen spiritual warfare taking place around them every day. Now fear the Lord and serve him withal faithfulness. Throw away the gods your ancestors worship beyond the Euphrates River and in in Egypt, and serve the Lord (Joshua 24:14). 

It's the will of the Lord God for His people to be found faithful in service to Him of their Great God and keep of their way. They cannot live in true peace with the Lord Jesus Christ as long as they chose to live apart from Him in disobedience. Instead the Lord God calls them apart from those around them living in rebellion against the manifest truths of His Word. We read the following concerning this important issue of importance for every child of God. 

Now therefore fear the Lord, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your

fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the Lord. And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we shall serve the Lord.

And the people answered and said, God forbid that we should forsake the Lord, to serve other gods; For the Lord your God, he it is that brought us up and our fathers out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bandage, and which did those great signs in our sight, and preserved us in all the way wherein we went, and among all the people through whom we passed: (Joshua 24:14-17). 

It's very clear the Lord Jesus Christ demands faithfulness in each of His children serve to Himself. Simply, because, He'll not have the worship of any other false god in His presence at anytime whatsoever. We as the people of God must make our decision for, Jesus Christ, right now before it's everlasting too last this side of heaven. "Jesus Christ Demands Faithfulness." The Lord God will drive out any god/s from amongst His people. And the Lord drave out from before us all people, even the Amorites which dwell in the land: therefore will we also serve the LORD; for he is our God (Joshua 24:18).

Beware of False God's "The Price Is Too High"

Seeing the Lord God demands such faithfulness from His children it  it's clear we've got to ensure we're walking in daily obedience with Him. If we seek to follow after other gods; we'll find ourselves breaking personal fellowship with the Lord Jesus Christ. This is why, Joshua, made the statement he did when he said; But for me and my house, we will serve the LORD verse 15 of Joshua chapter 24.

And Joshua said unto the people, Ye cannot serve the LORD: for he is an holy God; he will not forgive your transgressions nor your sins. If ye forsake the LORD, and serve strange gods, then he will turn and do you hurt, and consume you, after that he hath done you good. And the people said unto Joshua, Nay; but we shall serve the Lord (Joshua 24:19-21). 

After, reading over the above we learn the Lord God is faithful to His people He expects the same from them in return as well. Let us always remember before we get ourselves into a wrong disposition that God is always aware of His children's doings - It's just not worth the trouble it'll cause us by getting into  THE BED WITH THE ENEMY, SATAN.
